Routes running 24 hours a day are known as Night Owl Bus Routes. Routes are designed to connect at nearby intersections along with terminals, loops, and transportation centers. NJ Transit buses are operating on a limited schedule. In other transit news, NJ Transit was scheduled to be closed until Thursday - but light rail has resumed, with trains scheduled to return this afternoon.
Since we didn’t end up with that much snow after all, bus service has returned to normal some buses remain detoured for other reasons. Regional rail trains today are operating on a Saturday schedule. It dispatched additional track inspectors, maintenance crews, signal maintainers and power crews to deal with any problems caused by the snow. Currently, all El trains are making all stops. SEPTA made several service alterations yesterday due to the snow forecast.
